Australia is home to the world's longest fence, known as the "Dingo Fence" or "Dog Fence." It stretches over 5,600 kilometers (3,480 miles) across the continent, primarily built to keep dingoes (wild dogs) away from fertile land in southeastern Australia. The fence starts from the cliffs of the Nullarbor Plain in South Australia and extends through Queensland to the eastern coast near the Queensland-NSW border. The length of this fence is greater than that of the Great Wall of China.
